The UGREEN 20201 is a 1.5m USB 2.0 Type-A to DB9 RS-232 adapter cable designed to connect modern USB-equipped computers with compatible legacy serial equipment. It features a USB-A male connector and DB9 female RS-232 connector, with an integrated Prolific PL2303 chipset handling USB-to-serial conversion. UGREEN specifies serial data transfer rates of up to 1Mbps, along with automatic handshake, remote wake-up and power-management support. The adapter can create a virtual COM/serial port on a supported computer, making it suitable for compatible POS equipment, barcode scanners, routers, GPS devices, serial modems and industrial hardware.
