The Transcend MTE400S 512GB (TS512GMTE400S) is a compact M.2 2242 NVMe SSD built for compatible systems that require a shorter internal storage drive. Using a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and 3D NAND flash, the 512GB model delivers sequential read speeds up to 2,000MB/s and write speeds up to 1,100MB/s, with 4K random performance reaching up to 90,000 read and 190,000 write IOPS. Its single-sided 42mm design suits compatible space-constrained devices, while SLC caching, LDPC error correction, S.M.A.R.T. support and Advanced Garbage Collection provide additional performance, monitoring and storage-management capabilities.
