The Thermalright LGA1700-BCF BLACK V2 is an aluminum-alloy CPU contact frame designed for Intel LGA1700 processors, including 12th, 13th and 14th Gen desktop CPUs. It replaces the motherboard's standard CPU retention mechanism to provide a full-contact retention structure intended to reduce uneven pressure and CPU bending associated with the LGA1700 socket design. The black frame measures 54 × 70 × 6mm and weighs 20g, with precise positioning around the processor and surrounding socket components. Thermalright includes an L-shaped screwdriver for installation using the motherboard's existing socket backplate and mounting screws.
