The ID-COOLING FROST PTM-2 is a phase-change thermal interface material supplied as two 40 × 40 × 0.2mm sheets for transferring heat between a processor and its cooler contact surface. ID-COOLING specifies 8.5 W/m·K thermal conductivity, 0.04°C·cm²/W thermal impedance and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 200°C. Unlike conventional thermal grease that must be spread or dispensed, the thin pad can be positioned directly on a suitably sized CPU or GPU contact area before the heatsink is installed. The two-sheet pack provides additional material for compatible applications or a second installation.
